Project Initiative

Gathering doctoral-level researchers in economics, statistics, sociology, and psychology from prestigious universities around the world, the IFU project research team used quantitative methods to evaluate and test the effects of assistance received in pilot areas of previously implemented projects. By combining the advanced financial risk management concepts of developed countries with the actual national conditions and innovative vitality of developing countries, the project team designed a unique and scientific public welfare model that can optimize the ability of farmers in Asia to resist risks. The IFU project has become an important contributor to agricultural development beyond government and business.

Our Goals

The IFU project research team aims to find and examine the optimal way to subsidize agricultural insurance premiums for farmers in need, support the construction of infrastructure for industrial revitalization, conduct training and subsidies for grassroots preachers, provide scholarship support for children of farmers in need, and organize rural surveys for college students. Ultimately, through the integration of industry, academia and research, a group of local talents will be cultivated in various villages who can change the ability of China's agricultural income to withstand risks.

Expected Impact

The project plans to cover at least 4 pilot counties in China, carry out 4 training and research activities every year, subsidize more than 500,000 farmers in total, and provide long-term support for grassroots propaganda work.
